Hey all,

I just wrote my OAT the other day and didnt score too high (AA 310 TS 300) currently my GPA is 3.1 / 4.0. For those who have gotten interviews, do you think I should apply for this year or redo my OAT before applying? Thanks

apply and consider taking it again. gpa should get you part way there...

My stats are similar to yours so I'll tell you my current situation. I had the same OAT score as you but I already have my Bachelor of Science with a gpa of 3.2 and I'm in the middle of doing my Master of Public Health with a gpa of 4.0. Of the schools I applied to, I was rejected from NECO, haven't heard from NOVA, I have an interview at Western, and then SUNY, PCO, ICO, and IU asked me to re-take the OAT and they have my application on hold until Jan. bc I'm re-taking it in Dec. So I would say go ahead and apply but the schools you apply to will more than likely ask you to re-take the OAT.. good luck!

I had a gpa of 3.1 with BS....
my OAT score were in the 360TS/340AA, so I think the only thing that is holding you back is that OAT score... get to studyin' and rock them... and you should be getting interviews at all these places... I got interviews @ NECO, ICO, PCO, NOVA and and I got accepted everywhere I applied... SO the moral of the story, study for those OATs, dont make them the reason why you are sitting home next year, and not sufferin' with the rest of the 1st years in anatomy!!! (jk)

I also agree with the above posters regarding retaking the OAT and start applying now to different schools. Like the Afasano said, it's probably your OAT scores that are holding you back. Good luck.
