TS 340
AA 340
around 83% ranking
I think i got the bare minimum to be rounded up to TS 340 as my average was a 335. But anyways my GPA was a 3.4 in biomedical engineering from UNC CH. Core classes GPA was 3.5. and i want to know what you all think my chances are of getting in to optometry school. My weaknesses are in shadowing and internship as i've only recently decided to pursue a career in optometry. Ive only recently begun shadowing an optometrist and ive logged in about 20 hrs. how important is it when admissions officers are reveiwing my app?
Also my intro science class gpa is pretty weak. around a 3. This is because i took a lot of APs which gave me a lot of credit in school and i basically had to jump into higher lvl physics, bio and math courses. so i was quite worried when filling out my optomcast application and they asked for gpa of science subjects.
Havent seen this out yet but i know that the new scores are different from the old scores from before 2009 but i can post up my percentile rankings and they can be compared to the old scores and percentile rankings if any one is interested. Also i dont mind posting up study methods, what worked and didnt work for me.
