Hey guys, So i took the OAT in august:

QR: 330
RC: 380
Bio: 300
GC: 310
OC: 290
PH: 340

TS 310 and AA of 330.

My GPA is 3.3 with science of a 3.0. My #1 school is IU so i was possibly interested in scoring higher just to make sure i apply with my highest score possible. However, Im not sure how a 2nd attempt is calculated.. Do they take the best scores of each individual section or should i be worried of doing worse? for example, if i recieved a 330 for Organic Chemistry but a 320 for physics on my 2nd attempt, would they give me the best scores for each individual section?

thanks!

No they do not take the best score from a section. So it is very possible to do worse on your second OAT attempt (which is a red flag for schools). I think your scores look good though even with your GPA is on the lower side. Here is a forum of last years acceptances so you can see where you compare http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=951662. I have been offered an invite to IU admissions day and my OAT scores are lower than yours (310 AA and 300 TS) but my GPA is higher (3.6). If you are worried though you can always call IUs admissions and ask. I have called them twice with questions and they have been super nice. Hope this helps!
