Hi, I took the OAT at the beginning of November and my scores are listed below

QR 380
RC 350
Bio 390
gChe 360
Oche 380
Phy 350
TS 380
AA 370

The real OAT was much easier than any of the practice tests that I have taken.

Time I have used to study RC and QR would probably amount upto less than 2 hours. Basically, I have not even looked at them.

Orgo was definitely my strongest points. I probably have used about 5% of my time on it. Basically.... maybe twice a month?

I have spent about 80% of my time studying for gen chem (since I had forgotten most of it from the freshmen year), Physics (one of my 'weak' point).

Before I took OAT, I have taken a practice MCAT from Kaplan. This was before I started studying for anything. And my knowledges from gChem, physic were completely insufficient. At that time, I had not even taken Orgo chem, so I had no knowledge of it at all.

On the practice MCAT, I had gotten 7PS, 6VR and 10BS. And this is merely from knowledge from Bio, reasoning through the choices and guessing.

I want to take a hit on the MCAT and the only thing that is stopping me, (in my point of view) is the verbal reasoning.

If any of you have taken MCAT and OAT after being fully prepared for both, can you share your experience?

And any other advises will be appreciated also.

Thank you

P.S. if you any of you want to know how I prepared, I'll be most glad to share it.

Good job on the OAT, I'm actually scheduled to take it in a little less than two weeks. I'm most worried about the chemistry seeing as how I haven't taken genchem since freshman year. How did you review/ prep for the chemistry portion? Did you use any materials and what did you find most useful? Thanks

I normally don't post on here, but I've taken both. I made a 34R on the MCAT went to medical school and left 1st term. Took the OAT and scored 390.

If you're trying to compare tests: the OAT is much easier. It's more recall this reaction or that formula with a few concept based questions. MCAT is mostly critical thinking.

And I personally thought the verbal section on the OAT was a joke.
