Can someone please explain to e the difference between a gynecoid pelvis and a platypelloid pelvis? I was looking at the descriptions and they look alike. Any idea how what clues they might put in the question stem to tell them apart?

Thanks.

Gynecoid is the MC and is heart shaped/Platypelloid has increased transverse
diameter but the obstetric conjugate diameter and true conjugate diameter is less when compared to Gynecoid
