hey, at the end of next month we are asked to do an oral exam with one of our attendings. any idea on how to prepare for this?

I am on ob/gyn right now..and my attendings as well as the residents all reccomend Blueprints for Ob....so that is something you may want to look into.

I have never heard of "oral exams" aside from graduating residents....where do they do this??

We do an oral exam here at UASOM on our ob/gyn rotations.

We have orals for almost every rotation. For OB/GYN we take the clerkship exam, an oral, then a departmental exam.

Makes for a long day!

likewise at Tufts, and for surgery as well (mine's tomorrow!😱 )
