It doesn't seem like this issue was brought up so I thought I'd share some information for you guys since it may impact your future decisions. Obamacare is safe, at least for the first half of Trump's term unless Trump can actually come up with something better. When he tried repealing it in 2017, Republicans had a much higher lead in controlling the House. This time, they have a razor-thin lead. In 2017, 20 House Republicans voted against its repeal and it actually passed by 1 vote. Of those 20, 5 won re-election. Given Republicans will control 220 seats, that's not enough to repeal Obamacare. Plus, contrary to what people think, not all people will vote in according to their party. Those in battleground districts will not vote for their party's policies if it is very radical like Obamacare's repeal because it hurts their chances of re-election.
