Nikon makes an Object Marker/(Cell Dotter) for microscopes.
This is a cool little tool that allows you to place a small 1.8mm removable ink circle over the particular area of the specimen you are pinpointing. The Object Marker screws into your microscope's Nose piece like an objective, and spins into position when you're ready to use it.
