is there a demand for physiatrists in occupational medicine? Where?

I recently saw a job ad for a physiatrist that would split time between occmed and reading EMG's.

I have heard that the general demand for occupational medicine has declined recently though.

If you mean treating chemical burns, environmental exposures, etc., then no Physiatrists generally not involved in that unless it becomes a chronic pain issue.

If you mean Worker's Comp, then yes, you will find alot of back pain, neck pain, MSK pain in general there.
