This is an interesting website that ranks the skills, abilities and knowledge needed and used for different professions. If you search for physician, you can see a detailed report of what skills that are needed and which are most important. It also lists the work context, work activities and the work values.
There is data for family/general practitioners, pediatricians, surgeons, psychiatrists and obstetricians and gynecologists. The ?Physicians and Surgeons, All Other? link doesn?t give a detailed report.
