ochem 2 lab

I know most schools require ochem 2 lab, is there any way to get around this?

Suck it up and go through the hell known as O-Chem 2 lab. You will have tons of fun in it when you spend 8-14 hours a week there (like I did) 😱 . It is also a lot of fun when you do everything by the book and reactions do not go as advertised. I am so happy to be 99% done with it.

Some schools only require 4 hours of ochem + lab. You might want to check with the schools you want to apply to. But usually in order to get your bachelors degree you need to take ochem 1+2 and their corresponding labs soooo....

Not everyone has a major where O-Chem is a requirement.

So I e-mailed case and unlv about this matter. Case does not require the lab as long as you meet the minimum credits. UNLV requires both ochem labs 1 and 2. I guess I'm taking another course this summer.

At my school the lab is built into the class itself... So on my transcript it will just say Ochem1 and 2. Will this be a prob? Its a 4 credit ochem class but the lab is integrated into the class, thanx

Nope, definitely not a problem for ANY school.
