I'm a pre-med thinking about switching into pre-dent track.
Is it necessary to have a full year of ochem lab? I'm on the quarter system and only took 2 quarters of it. Does that not meet the requirements of all dent schools?

Check with your pre-health advisor. I know some schools only require their students to take 2 labs for pre-med/dental,etc. The 3rd ochem was mandatory only for biochem/ chem-E majors.

ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

8 semester hours or 12 quarter hours of Organic Chemistry, as required for college science majors, including the corresponding laboratory experience are required. (8 semester hours = 6 hours of lecture & 2 hours of lab; 12 quarter hours = 9 hours of lecture & 3 hours of lab).

my school is on the quarter system and only offers two quarters of lab, which are accepted as the full curriculum to dental schools. If your school offers a third quarter, then you probably need to take it.
