I've been reading the pre-dental student guide by SDN, and I see Ochem Lab (1 year) as a requirement in order to apply for dental school. This is the first time I've heard of this. Is this true?
I'm not sure about that. Seems more likely that you would need to find a way to take OChem 1 somewhere else. Sort of like Howard and their biochem requirements.
I already took Orgo 1, and I really doubt they would not accept that lab because it's actually 2 credits which kinda represents the labs from 2 semesters.

Well, I know people who have been accepted to dental schools from my school with only that lab (which is called ORGANIC CHEMISTRY LAB, so doesn't specify 1 or 2) so it's gonna stay like that.

Fair enough then, my school has something similar with gen chem lab. Its really a 2 credit lab but they mark it on your transcript as two 1 credit labs with the same grade
