odd and dumb question

On my computer, I've found a program downloaded by one of my old friends who took Step 1 in 05 and was curious what it was and how outdated or useful it might be for me. It's called NBME Test Delivery System and when you open it it goes to a screen that says "Select the exam you want to practice" and has options of Step 1 tutorial, Step 1 overview, Step 1 Block 1, Block 2, Block 3, All Blocks. When I open one of the blocks they look like 50 ? blocks of questions...I'm very new to step 1 prep...does anyone know what this is?

These are the free 150 questions everyone talks about. They come on the cd that the NBME sends you after registering.

ahh thanks! 🙂 i figured that out after i posted, of course. do they change year to year? should i keep the old 05 ones for more practice?
