was curious to get some feedback on odds of matching in rad onc

have 260+ step 1; mostly honors in preclinical and all but one clinical; have a poster/presentation/pub in basic science with a few rad onc projects pending/in the works

what kind of places would i be competitive for if at all?

Pretty sure you need at least a 280 to be considered for rad onc

1. 260 is the new 240 so your step 1 is a negative (as others have noted 270+ is an unwritten requirement)
2. You have barely any research which is a negative (3-4 papers as well as more presentations is typically sufficient)
3. You are asking if you are competitive which is a negative (confidence is key in this process which you seem to be lacking)

So, overall not very good chances unfortunately.

OP , the posters above me think they're being funny... theyre being sarcastic. just dont want you to take their replies seriously.
