Ode to Step Up to Medicine

I used Step Up to Medicine during my medicine clerkship in July-September (1st rotation of 3rd year). During that time I didn't get a chance to read the whole book, however, I appreciate even more now that I'm studying for Step 2. Most (if not close to all) of the education objectives tested on USMLE World (for medicine atleast), is easily found in Step Up to Medicine, conveniently in the multiple tables or the "Quick Hits" in the margin. This has saved my butt in studying (since its been so long since I've had medicine). Might not be able to read the whole thing front to back, but it is great as a quick reference and to brush on the topics that you aren't so hot in. I give it 5 thumbs up!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍 (If that's even possible).

It is my favorite IM book. I push it whenever someone asks me about clerkships or Step II prep. 🙂
