i have a basic question about getting an mph....can you only apply for the academic year beginning in the fall? meaning is there any way to enter during the spring or off cycle the way people can for business school? any help would be appreciated!

It depends on the school and the program. I don't know if there's a list or an easy resource - maybe someone else can chime in on that. I know the UC's do not admit for spring, but I think BU does. Hopkins has several degrees that have varied application due dates, and I think the program start dates are similarly staggered, but don't quote me.

You should be able to find this info for each program on each school's website, but yes, it's possible to be admitted to several schools in the spring.

Look at schools which have some programs aimed towards working professionals. These schools typically have admission cycles 3 times a year (Fall, Spring, Summer) to accommodate. USF has this.
