Off to Practical

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Retraining tomorrow... 🙁

Sorry to hear that. If you have any questions or would like some advice, just post here or PM me. I've been an EMS educator on and off for about 8 years.

The most common reason people fail their EMT practical stations is either something related to the ABCs or c-spine. As much as I hate to say this, treat your skills sheet like a script. In the field, you won't do that, of course, but for test day, it's better to go through the motions in an organized manner than to try to simulate what you would do in the field.

Good luck tomorrow! :luck:

Congrats!! Now you too can get paid barely above minimum wage to save lives. ;P

people who do this for free are saints.

not like those of us who are paid have much of an advantage; some days (ie payday) it seems like i'm volunteering.

I don't get paid. 😱

This is actually maybe a good thing...the amount of money I /do/ get paid basically gives me the illusion of volunteering without the good feeling behind it. 🙄

zipmedic:

At 8pm today, someone poisons the coffee. Do NOT drink the coffee. More instructions will follow.

Cordially,

He hasn't responded...

If you were really from the future, you'd know the fax machine had been broken for three weeks. I drank the coffee.

I don't think you're getting "the office" reference
