I came across a lot of hemming and hawing about how to interpret silence from programs this cycle. I applied to a fair number of programs, so I thought I'd add one more side of the rejection story for posterity.

This list only reflects my experience. Still, maybe future applicants will find it useful somehow.

Agreed. I know it's whiny but with all this talk about professionalism, I feel like programs should at least take the time to spam out a rejection letter to everyone else.
