Post where your an alternate and let us all know when you get in. This will be helpful for others (2007 Cycle) who wonder what there chances are of getting accepted off of an alternate list. As you can see I have my share of alternate spots.

This is a very good idea. I haven't pulled out of my alt. list positions yet for the simple fact of knowing if any of the schools would have accepted me off of it. If I would have had a thread like this from last year I might not have worried about keeping my name on the list. Of course, I am already set with Maryland.

Since one of my goals was to eliminate the need for these "Official..." threads, I will now add an option to select Alternate/Waitlist to predents.com so this info is available as well. Expect it soon.

This is true!!


I'm done and you can now enter a waitlist date and my website will figure things out accordingly. For instance, if you are waitlisted then get accecepted, it will move you from waitlist to accepted all on its own. Same thing if you get rejected.

Waitlisted peeps show up seperately and as their own color.
