Well, the interviews are beginning to come in now! I thought it might be beneficial to create a list which could be used for reference purposes. Add to the list only if you have received an official interview invitation.

Let's copy/paste the immediately previous list when adding new schools to the list, so the final message posted should be the most current list of schools. I'll start...

Can you tell me when you got your Columbia interview?
Columbia told me that they won't review my application until they receive my transcripts and LOR. Damn AADSAS ppl for not sending them yet. They're screwing me over.

Hey Juan,

Yeah, I'm sort of regretting appplying to all these schools now. At first, I had no idea how my application would stand with dental schools. So, I went on the side of caution and applied to a bunch. I'm sure a lot of the other peeps on this site would have as many (if not more) than me if they had applied to as many schools as I have. Now the question is "How am I gonna pay for all threse interview trips" 😕 😕

About Columbia, I got my interview letter on 9/4. They told me the asme thing about waiting for LORs and transcripts. As you know, I had the same prob with AADSAS...but ultimately they came through in the end.

Just make sure AADSAS gets your stuff out in the next mailing. If the next mailing is weeks away, maybe you should consider sending them from your undergrad institution directly.....on second thought, don't worry about it. With your crazy high stats, you wil be A OKAY 😛

Zurich,
I have heard from UIC Chicago. Nothing exciting, I just got a letter from Ann stating that my application file was complete. The letter also stated that they wouldn't be reviewing applications until December 1. Interviews would be taking place sometime in February and notification of acceptance would be early March. This seems late to me, but I do notice that they have an application deadline of December 1, 2002. I'm guessing that UIC wants all applications in hand before they start choosing candidates for interviews. I have heard nothing from SIU.

Thanks for your reply, that does seem really late to me as well. From what i've read on their web site, SIU does not require an interview. Is that right? Best of luck.
