Hi guys,

I'm a bit confused about this sending official score reports. For some stupid reason, I didn't select any dental schools when I submitted my application to take the DAT. Does this mean that I have to pay $35 for every school I am applying to?

I've looked around to try to figure out, but apparently now since we have DENTPIN the schools consider the scores on AADSAS official and won't ask for an official copy from ADA. is this true?

Also, on the day of your DAT exam and right before beginning the test, don't they also ask you if you want to send score reports??? (I took my DAT first time, and vaguely remember that...)

PLEASE CONFIRM!!!

thank you

I haven't taken the DAT yet so I'm interested in this as well. I've heard that when you sign up, select which schools you'd like scores sent to for free. If you'd like to send any additional scores out on top after the fact, it's $35 each. I really don't know so can someone clarify?

When you take the test, you will be dealing with a testing center that has no capabilities of doing this for you. Neither do you, there. You had to select that initially, and unfortunately, I believe you will have to pay for each school now. There is no need to get official score reports, once you take the DAT, your scores are electronically sent to the schools you selected (and pay for each one) prior to. Sorry, that stinks.
