It's weird, but I just called and the office said that the waitlist was on #6. I guess it depends on who you talk to?

I just called too-- and #10 is waiting to be signed by Dr. Samson who is out of town. The key is to NOT talk to the receptionist. She told me they were on #6 too, but they took #9 last Thursday-- my friend met with Dr. Samson and that's what he said. Make sure you talk to the right people!!

At long last, I'm IN!!!!!!!!!! Rec'd my letter and packet in the mail. I could not be more excited. THis is my first choice school and I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited to start!!!! Whoo hoo!

For WA residents, the 2nd WWAMI lottery was yesterday. Just found out I'll be in Seattle for 1st year. I'm so excited!! Any others out there who'll be in Seattle? BTW, the UW he Orientation link is not very helpful- anyone else notice this?

also, (from way back!) i agree you should talk with Dr. Samson rather than the secretary if you're still waiting...I was #9 and my letter was dated April 22, and it looks like from the list they were telling people they were on #6 at that point 🙂

lottery was supposed to happen in early june but dr. turner @ WSU evidently wanted it done earlier for some reason so it was done on Monday I beleive. I rec'd an email notification. I called just to verify as well.
