Hey guys!

I realized that we actually dont have one of these threads on the pre-DO forum. Just a shout-out to the class of 2009 at VCOM!

I was accepted in December, yet have finally made my decision to attend VCOM. Really excited! Anyone have advice on places to live? I want to live around other VCOMers but in a single apartment.

Cant wait until Orientation! (Wont be able to make it to admitted students day, but I hope you guys have fun!)

I probably shouldn't post since I'm not going to VCOM, but I am a Virginia Tech student and just wanted to say welcome to Blacksburg! I love it here. Here's Virginia Tech's off campus housing site... http://www.uusa.vt.edu/uusaServices/OCH/rentals/vtoch.htm I'm going to miss Blacksburg. It's a great place and housing is pretty cheap. I think there's a housing page for VCOM, but I don't know what it is. Hopefully the VT site can help you get started. Good luck finding a place!

Hint: Places like Terrace View, Foxridge, Roanoke Street Apartments (anywhere there are large amounts of undergrads) are pretty noisy on the weekends. The more expensive places like Knollwood are more quiet.
