Ohio State Deadline

Does any one know why the deadline for Ohio State's application is Oct 1 when VMCAS's is Oct 2? I am not planning on waiting until the last day to submit, but I find it to be odd. On their website it even says the VMCAS deadline is Oct 1. Do you think they are trying to weed out the last minute applicants?

Good question. I just assumed that the VMCAS was due on October 1st this year instead of the 2nd.

I think that VMCAS is due Oct. 2nd at midnight, so basically, the second that it's officially Oct. 2nd, game over. I'm not sure if that's PST or what, so it might be sooner/later depending on where you live. So... it's kinda due Oct. 1st even though it says the 2nd. Make any sense? Heh.

Don't wait until the last minute and you won't have to worry about it. 👍

VMCAS is due Oct. 2 Noon Eastern Time. I know CSU has made their supplemental due at 10 AM their time to take into account time differences.

maybe they are proving a point? --not to wait til the last minute. b/c if you do, then you miss the supplemental deadline.
