Does anyone have any info on being recommended by Ohio State for MEDPATH? Like what is the application process like? Maybe i'm just desperate after yet ANOTHER rejection. I appreciate whatever info you guys have, thanks.

Do you have....
Eligibility: PBP: Bachelor's degree; minimum 2.5 GPA; U.S. citizen or permanent resident; member of group under-represented in medicine; list The Ohio State University College of Medicine as a school selection on the AMCAS application; be recommended by The Ohio State University College of Medicine Admissions Committee to MEDPATH
(CCO) Non-Science major who has not taken the pre-medical requirements or, is changing careers; minimum 3.0 GPA; U.S. citizenship or permanent resident; residents of Ohio are given preference.

Then go ahead and do it...it will matriculate you into OSU COM after succesful completion

So exactly do u apply? Do they just see if you'd be a good candidate and consider you for the postbacc, when you apply for regular admissions to the school of medicine? Or is there a separate application?

I applied regular decision to Ohio State about a month ago and then they emailed me with a status change. I checked my status online and it said Application File Closed. I looked at the letter attached and it said that I had been recommended to apply to MEDPATH. Anyone have more info on how selective it is?

has anyone who interviewed to medpath heard anything yet?????????????
