So, I interviewed at Ohio State last week. I thought the interview went really well. It had become my top choice of school and I got a phone call today that said that I'm in the No Response group. That I would be hearing back in a month or so, or even around January. I know that its good that they didn't NOT accept me, but I can't help but feeling uneasy about it. Is this a bad sign? Does anyone else have any other experience with this? I have a good GPA, and I thought I did reasonably well on my OAT score. Anyone else get accepted there yet, or know anything about No Response group and chances after that?

Did they give you a reason why? Many many years when I applied to SUNY, I went to the interview and at the end of it they told me that they would admit me but that they couldn't officially admit me until all my rec letters had been received.

It turns out that even though I had asked the 3 people to send them in like 3 months prior, one person had not done it. So I had to go home, phone them up, and remind them to PLEASE SEND THE DAMN LETTER! They did and I was admitted.

So you may have a problem as simple as that but it's something that you'll never find out about until it's too late. Phone them up and make sure that your application is in fact complete and that they're not waiting for some piece of information that you could facilitate.
