They said they should start having decisions made by late January, but that usually doesn't happen. They said the same thing last year and I didn't hear anything until March. I did know someone who got in last year and they got the acceptance email mid to late February. They do have a new director this year so I'm hoping that they have their decisions made at the end of the month like they told us they would.

yea, thats what I remember them saying... I hope they stick to the end of January. Waiting until March would suck!

I did. They sent out an e-mail that they had made the first decisions (I'm not sure out of how many) and to check your status on the online site provided last Fall. There it told me I had been admitted, so you might want to check your status on there!

So I basically have ants in my pants and can't wait anymore! But at the same time I'm scared to call admissions and ask when majority of decisions will be sent. I know someone already has gotten an acceptance, but I thought they said at the open house all decisions should be made by the end of Jan.

Has anyone called admissions lately and asked a similar question (or maybe want to call for me🙂)? If its true that they do accept in waves, what is the latest to hear back from?

Received an email from Ohio State today...looks like I'm in the upper third of the waitlist. Anyone know if OSU usually pulls anyone from their waitlist?

I would think very few people end up getting in from the waitlist considering almost everyone who gets accepted ends up attending there.
