Congratulations on your acceptance 🙂!

Confirmation of acceptance and deposit must be post marked by February 22.

I'm guessing more people could get contacted sometime this week. I'd imagine OU has received most responses back by now.

Your confirmation of acceptance along with the $250 deposit must be post marked by February 22, 2012. After that date we will begin to draw from the alternate pool.

Good luck!

Rangardrum, do you have any info/tips on finding housing? Do leases start in June or is it more likely you'll have to sublet the summer and find a place in August?

Apparently we're supposed to get a packet with some general housing info (unless I misheard that on Preview Day?). I'm not super knowledgeable right now on housing. I know there are some housing areas specifically set aside for grad students, but apparently a lot of people also just find roommates from within the program. There's a Facebook page here, but it's not exactly teeming with members yet.

Im looking to apply to OU next year and I was wondering what kind of stats it took to get in?

Last year's class avg. overall GPA was 3.68 (3.62 prereq) and avg. GRE was 1110. Of course there would be variations among the actual stats of people accepted. I think the minimum required GPA is 3.0, and I don't know if there is a minimum GRE score. About 350 people applied this year, about 150 were interviewed, and there seems to be 40-44 seats per entering class (and schools have to accept way over their seat limit to fill their available spots). Hope that helps!

Did you know what spot on the waitlist you were? Wondering if a lot of people declined their acceptances?

I'm not sure. They never told me and I didn't ask.
