PharmCAS has finished calculating my GPAs and they have broken them down into Science, Non-Science, Math, etc. as you are all aware of. Because my ENGINEERING courses fall under the SCIENCE category, my Science GPA is low, even though all my pre-pharmacy courses had high grades (As or Bs, and actually very few Bs). So will pharmacy schools look at this Science GPA to base their admissions? I thought they were supposed to base admissions on overall GPA and perhaps pre-pharm classes GPA? There really needs to be a separate category for Engineering courses.
