EVANGELICAL PATHOLOGIST seeking an AP/CP board certified or board eligible associate pathologist for a hospital-based general pathology practice with Heme-Onc emphasis located one hour from Pittsburgh, PA. This is a two-man practice which services ACMH Hospital (www.acmh.org), a 150 bed non-profit independent community hospital that has served the people of Armstrong County for over 60 years. The current hospital plant was built in 1973 and is well maintained. We do most types of surgery except transplant and open heart cases, and very little neuro- or pediatric surgery. The active medical staff numbers over 100.



The director pathologist is a 57 year old active evangelical believer seeking an associate with a heart for people. We process 6000 surgicals and 8000 cytologies per year with shared call responsibilities every other week. We do a handful of autopsies per year. The hospital is located 40 miles from Pittsburgh by 4 lane road and the pathologists must live within 30 minutes of the hospital. There is the potential to become laboratory director in 5 – 10 years if the capability and desire is there, and the hospital agrees.

I kind of like the last line the best, but it's missing something... Maybe it should read:

"There is the potential to become laboratory director in 5-10 years if the capability and desire is there, the hospital agrees, and it is god's will."

I actually know an evangelical pathologist who tries to convert most heathens (by heathen I mean atheists, the confused, catholics, jews, and anyone from asia or the middle east who hasn't already converted) during signout or used signout as a springboard to this. I should pass on this invite.
