old apps looked at?

Does anyone know if schools have access to your old application and if so whether they actually look at it? I realize it's impossible to know for every school, but has anyone ever heard of ANY school that looks at old apps when re-applying?

Yes, schools have access to all past AMCAS applications, and presumably their own secondaries as well. Whether or not they use them varies by school. The only one I know for sure is UWash, and they use ALL available materials including AMCAS, secondaries, past LORs, interviewer notes, etc.
