So, this is basically a simple question.

I will not be applying to dental school until the next cycle, but would like to start studying now. I will be starting physics and finishing up the second half of o. chem this semester, with all of bio and g. chem finished.

What I am wondering is, if I buy the materials now and start studying, will they be outdated next year and will I have to buy all new material, or do the study materials never really change? I just want to make sure that if I buy them now, I won't be wasting my money on material that won't be up-to-date.

Thanks in advance.

you should be fine if you purchase some books now. books like kaplan dont change much from year to year. i have a few books from last year as well as my old text books that i am studying from and the information is very accurate. however, you should be aware of software you may purchase because sometimes those have limited licenses that do not allow you to use them after a certain period of time.

The study materials won't change at all, so you're fine in getting this year's edition. Only the practice questions will change for the most part. If you're still going to be taking science courses next semester, I would say hold off on the science study guides for at least a few months but start practicing for the perceptual ability section now. I'd highly recommend crack dat pat.
