Old Reading comp test 50 minutes?

I have some old year 2000 full length kaplan tests. But they have 50 minutes allotted for RC. Should i just extend it to 60 minutes? or were the tests designed for 50?

How many questions were they? The new DAT RC is 50 questions. I would probably go with what was allotted on the old test just because it was made for 50 minutes, you will still get good practice doing those tests anyways 10 minutes shouldn't be that big of a deal.
