PT of 3 years about to move and start travel therapy. What do you guys do with your old school notes? My school had us print everything and bind it. I can't say that I have referred to any of my notes except the manual therapy notebooks. I would probably keep anatomy and biomechanics...but everything else? Gonna bring a few textbooks with me but everything else is going into storage.

But still... When do you let go?

Did you have to print everything or did you print them by choice?

I have all my notes, except some neuroscience diagrams, on my laptop, so of course I have all my notes. If all my notes were printed, I would bring:

-Manual therapy notebooks in case you're in an outpatient orthopedic clinic
-Basic skills (assisted devices, transfers, etc.) if you're in acute, SNF, or home health
-Anatomy and biomechanics notes
-NPTE study guide- a great resource
-Differential dx notes- good for any setting
-Pharmacology notes- good for any setting

I went to St. Aug where it was the norm to print everything out and get it bound. I don't plan to bring much with me. Honestly I refer mostly to my kindle book Clinical Orthopaedic Rehab book by Brotzman and Manske.

Getting ready to move and I kinda want to throw away all of my old notes!

Google knows everything.
That's funny because my friend and I have said "if it weren't for Google and YouTube, I wouldn't be a therapist." But seriously... Google really helped me out my first year. My old notes are just collecting dust.
