Do you get paid a standard residency salary in all OMFS programs? Is there a way to determine which program is paid? On the ADEA PASS website lists which residencies offer a stipend, not sure if this is accurate or updated.

All OMFS residents get payed a stipend, except for the years of med school in 6 year programs (but there’s a lot of variability with this during the med school years depending on the program).

Salaries are all determined by ACGME. They vary slightly based on COL but generally are very similar for each Post graduate year of training. Total income can vary depending on if your program allows moonlighting (especially while in med school) or if you are paid during your med school years. Hope that helps

I noticed that some 4 year programs on the ADEA PASS website say they do not offer a stipend. Is this an error?

You can be rest assured that every single OMFS program pays you. Some 6 year programs don’t pay you for the 2 years you’re in medical school. Many of them including my own do pay you all 6 years

just google "[program] pgy salary"
they're updated each year. not sure what you're going to do with this info though

you can ask at interviews if moonlighting is allowed. some might say it's a great perk, but it's certainly not a dealbreaker when it comes to ranking
