Haahaha. Was about to post the same thing. Weird, earthquake in NYC??
No it happened in VA and it was felt all the way to NY. I am in DC area.

Earth quaked in southern Colorado and New Mexico too...when is it that the world is supposed to end? I always forget...

I was working in the lab too and I thought someone dropped a big machine or something. I was on 4th flooor. I couldn't run like a girl. I was waiting for my death actually

I know what you mean... I'm a Washingtonian so I'm "meh" about it as well... That said, they don't really get these kinds of things on the East coast, so it would not surprise me if some of them are kinda freaking out lol. Like I said though, I hope everyone is OK. 🙂
People are over-cautious here. They have me and others stand outside for three hours for no reason. Cancelled public transportation such as metro and buses. WTF everything is fine out here.

Gov't workers left work around noon. Evacuate the national airport for no reason, flight delays and traffic jam. Earthquake is no where near us.
sounds like an excuse to get off work early.
I can get the initial freak out given that its close to september 11th especially for those living in NYC, near government buildings and what not with never having felt an earthquake but 30 to 45 minutes it should be back to work.

i just kept falling off my chair at lunch and thought i was ******edddd and couldnt stay on my chair & i thought it was an earthquake but then i was like nawwww that doesnt happen here. haha mess
