Any fellow second year DO students (soon to be 3rd years) out there know approximately what percentage of the COMLEX-Step 1 involves OMM material?

Its been quite a few years since I've taken Step 1, but I don't think it was quite as high as 20%. It was probably more like 10%. It was pretty easy though, the vast majority of it. Definately know your basic fryttte's principles, and the sympathetic distributions. There are going to be a few oddball OMM questions out there, like some crazy craniosacral stuff, but who cares about that... just guess the temporal bone and most of hte time you'll be right.

I cannot emphasize the importance of OMT Review by Savarese. It is the ONLY OMM book you'll need for the COMLEX, I promise you! You should just study it about 2 days before the big day, and that's IT!

NBOME website says it will be 15-20% of the exam.

Ah, yes, what the NBOME says will be on the exam. Well let me tell you, there was ONE biochemistry question, and literally about 50 neuro-system questions. I think I had one bleeding question. What the NBOME says is the biggest generalization known to man.

I'm a second year... what my colleagues from last year said was 15% They mostly said Savarese and knowing your inervations would get you at least 90% on those sections.

What kind of info in terms of innervation are they looking for in COMLEX, just wondering, since I have noticed it being mentioned in the post.
Thanks
