For those of you who took the boards which is the best review book for the boards for OMM. Im not all that good at OMM and I was wondering what guys like Idio used to study for the OMM part of the boards.
THanks

OMT Review by Savarese. It is pretty much all you need for the boards.

I was interested in the same question. Any other books worth checking out?

the savarese Green book is the one to go with...
also, most of the errors i found were obvious typos.... I think he also has a site where the errors are posted so its not biggie....

what edition is the green book? amazon shows two editions, but it does not show the covers of each.

Just buy the most recent edition (the 2nd edition has two printings, with most of the errors corrected in the 2nd printing, but also some entirely new ones thrown in).

Third edition is the most recent.

buy it, read it , learn it, memorize it, sell it 😀

Myself and most of the other students at TCOM used "Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Review for the Boards" by Steven L. Simmons, DO.

He was a graduate of TCOM who is currently a PM&R fellow at the county hospital here in Ft. Worth.

Most of us (and several from OK) also attended his review course. Very high yield, overall.

Don't know anything about the other book, but Dr. Simmons' can be found at amazon.com or directly from his website. Google it and you should find it (trying to avoid getting banned for promoting another website...🙂

After looking at his website, it looks as though the book is sold at most osteopathic schools' book stores.

Best of luck in whatever you choose...
