can anyone shed some light on the 1 year internships that some programs offer? do most programs fill these spots right away or do they wait a while? any info would be appreciated.

The ones we have here are typically filled anytime from day after match to right before july 1st. Just contact the programs that offer them.

Yah, same with us....we usually invite guys who externed that we liked that didn't have the cut off of boards scores to come and intern. Although anyone is invited to come see us.

....Please give us more interns!!! Splitting up the call = Less call for ME!

so does that help their chances of getting into the program the next year?...even though they still don't have the board scores for the cut off

has anyone heard of any programs accepting someone for the internship spot yet or are they still interviewing? maybe they havent started the search yet?
