On DAT Exam day!

Hi!

I just want to make sure that I'm as least flustered as possible and kind of know what to expect on the day of the DAT.

1. For the markers they give you for the two laminated sheets of paper, how thick are they? Did you guys end up using the entire 2 sheets?

2. Do you get the laminated sheets for the entire exam?

3. Are you allowed to look over notes during the 10 - 15 minute break in the middle?

4. And finally, if I'm not mistaken, the order is Sciences -> PAT -> Break -> RC -> QR, right?

They did not allow me to look at notes during the break in January.

The (2) pens i was given were very thin and easy to use. They give you 2 sheets for PAT and science and then during the break you can trade them for new ones if you want. they will give you 2 also. During the exam if you need more just raise your hand and they come quickly to help you.

4. The fact that you asked this question, worries me a little. Have you been doing full-length practice tests?

I've done two Achiever tests, and 6 "full-length" qVault haha. And Crack DAT PAT on the side, around 5 tests or so. I'm planning on doing Topscore (you have a free trial, right?) on Wednesday the day before my exam just to get a "feel"!

I see. datQvault was only in its beta stage when I took the test in december so I can't really comment on that. I would highly recommend all three Topscore tests tho. Good luck!
