I would call if I were you. The reason is Dec 1st is the day when dental schools can tell you over the phone if you are accepted to their program. If you are accepted according to the office secretary, then just wait for mister mailman to hand you the thick envelope. 😀

I am calling all of my schools at 7am EST. Which is like midnight out here in the west.

heck yes I will call... but what if they only mail out twenty letters for Dec 1st, and are not able to tell u really if u are in or not? (most schools won't fill out all the positions come Dec).

ditto. i probably won't call EACH school mainly b/c i think it is going to be a major nightmare getting through to ANY school on dec. 1st when the schools are making calls out and applicants are trying to call in, but i am going to attempt to get through to my top 3 schools if my aadsas isn't updated or if i haven't received an email.

i may set up a telethon thing where i have my friends and family all in a line calling schools on their cell phones and when someone gets through they can hand the phone over to me. i will provide bagels and coffee. 😛 oh, and free dental care to the person who gets through to a school i get accepted at for an added incentive to redial as fast as possible 😉

I like how you think. I have already begun entering numbers into my speed dial. Since I am out west, I will have tons of time to call before the sun comes up. So I can handle it on my own.

After my interview at Marquette, the secretary told me that they send out letters (95 letters of acceptance that day). Yet the ASODH lady told me that they call their top 30 for acceptance on Dec. 1st.

Buffalo will let u know at midnight. I think they said something like they can set the aadsas to release the info. at midnight on Dec. 1st.

Yeah, at ASDOH they seem pretty stoked about personally calling you on Dec. 1 to tell you you're in....rightly so. It must suck to have to reject so many fully qualified people.

I am going to get a Keg of beer, have a few friends over, and have a BBQ right next to my mail box waiting for the mail man. That a way I will already be drunk to drown my sorrows if I don't get a thick packet, or I will be celebrating when that packet shows up. Or maybe I should go over to the post office across the street and stalk them asking if I have anything.

yea i kept getting to her v-mail until she finally answered, but i kept calling the 1-800 number...i think her extension was 1100?? if so, i called 1-800-356-1100...i tried calling her direct line a few times but also got her v-mail so im pretty sure the two numbers ring the same phone...but yea i just kept redialing the 1-800 number...gooood luck and let me know when you get through👍
