What does being put on "hold" at SUNY Buffalo mean after an interview?
Is that a waitlist or a list to get on the waitlist.

Anyone else in this situation?

In the same situation and also wondering the same question. I was told that it means waitlist, but I'm not sure.

you're on the waitlist. I don't think I have ever heard of a waitlist to be on a waitlist. If you didn't get rejected then your chances of getting in are probably very good.

I asked this question a few days ago and this is the response I got: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=157141

I don't think Buffalo uses the word "waitlist" officially until after their class is filled, so theoretically you could be accepted in January or March or something, and have never actually been on the waiting list. Except right now, you sort of are. Does that make sense?
From past posts that I've searched, it looks like this is fairly promising, as you have a good shot of eventually getting in.
