on hold... because of current/future classes

So I just received an email from a school saying:

"It could get reviewed, but then put on hold until we have those grades."

The email was sent to me because I by accident responded to their secondary email invite with my payment confirmation information. (It's how I have been saving all my confirmation information by emailing it to myself but somehow I emailed it to them. sigh.)

Anyways -- I emailed them back letting them know I currently am NOT enrolled in any summer classes so please don't hold my application (and apologizing for even emailing them in the first place).

BUT now I am all freaked out that schools will place me on hold because I listed the classes I will be taking this fall. Can someone just please tell me not to freak out? OR to let me know that I made a big mistake by putting in current/future classes... ughhhhhhh

Don't freak out!!!! You are going to do awesome this application cycle. Sadly I have no helpful information about your current predicament other than I seriously hope that wasn't a mistake you made cause I made it too.

Thanks for the support DocBell. I assume most people place their fall classes on their application... so the admissions people most have looked at my application quickly and thought it was a summer class somehow. But still... weird email to get.

YEP. I definitely do actually. I'm know for being alittle bit insane (well maybe alot of bit.)
I just don't want a school to wait for grades that I won't be getting until December '10 and thennnn consider my application.

Being a doctor will already drive you a little mad. This isn't something you want to be ahead at.

Actually that is why being a physician is such a draw to me!!

Besides my experience teaching pre-meds... they are ALL crazy.
You got to be crazy to be pre-med.
It's a silly field to into with pseudo-science at time that none of my engineering friends respect.

I think your e-mail explains it all, don't freak out. These kind of things are common and it's good that you caught this early and fixed it. Deep breath, you are gonna be ok 👍

Thanks bunny fru fru! I think I just got worried at the time that like EVERY school was going to put me on hold.
(I swear. being a re-applicant has made me finally feel like one of those crazy pre-med kids in all my classes. now that's terrifying) 😱

and thanks DODO for the music recommendation -- though there is a difference between crazy and insane. Crazy people occasionally show moments of sanity. I don't. haha

Temple. But it wasn't an official your application has been placed on hold email, ... it was more because I by accident emailed them, and maybe they thought they needed to respond with something??? It did make paranoid though that I shouldn't have listed my fall classes.

Kill them all. They are no longer your friends.

Nah, they are the only people keeping me sane. they think pre-meds are a hoot with how grade obsessed they are.
