A rejection letter from Medical College of Wisconsin, "Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you the opportunity to interview for a place in our entering class of 2005." Awwww, I was at least hoping for an interview from them. I feel kind of hopeless...as if though it wont happen for me this year. I also got a notice from Brown Medical School informing me that my application was complete and that my file will now be reviewd by the Admissions Committee for an interview decision, February 1st...and so I wait with both my fingers and toes crossed...I would really like an interview and chance to prove my passion. But I'm sure that I am not the only person feeling like this. At least there were no missing people cards today...so that's good news. Hmmm... 😱

I got a viewbook for cleveland clinic in the mail today--last week I got a packet from U of Illinois' MD/PhD program. Little late, isn't it? I have no idea why in Dec suddenly these schools are trying to get me to apply, are research programs that hard up, or are they just that confident that I'm going to have to reapply next year? Meanwhile, no word from the 13 schools my file has been complete at since mid-Oct that have yet to invite or reject me. Oh, and I got a credit card offer and an invitation to get satellite tv. At least no rejections. 👍

Yeah, I am not too upset about this (e.g. this is not the first one 😳 ).

I thought going to their undergrad system for my first year would've helped, even though I am out of state. But guess not.

Today I got my first post-secondary rejection, from Dartmouth. 🙁 That was definitely one of my topchoices. 🙁

And this after not hearing anything for a whole month. Crappy way to have to go sit for my finals...

I got the same one today. My wife called me at work with the news of a letter from MCW and she read it over the phone. Somehow I still can't wait for the mail everyday.
