For those who have taken it already.. If I'm doing the sciences and I get to the last bio question, is there a 'review' option that I can see an overview of all my bio questions. Or do I have to wait until the very last question in chem to unlock the review button?

Also is there an option to hide the timer during the exam?

Thanks

When you start with the science portion you have to answer all questions before coming back to the review page but keep in mind there are some limitations with the review page. I would go the the prometrics website and start a practice DAT test. When you start this test and you're on the science there is a option called mark on the lower part of the screen. You have to mark the questions you are unsure about to come back that specific one when you're on the review page. If you don't you will go back to question #1 of bio and click next to go on to the next question until you reached your target question. The review page will show up after you finish the last question of the science portion. That's the only way it will show up the first time. When you're on the review page of the sciences you have three options review all questions, just the marked ones or review incomplete problems. The review page will also show you an outline of the questions and tell you which ones you marked. For this test you have to go in order to the questions you marked so you can't skipped the other marked ones shown on the review page. For example, you started with Biology questions so when you are reviewing your questions it will start with the marked bio questions first instead of chemistries. As far as I know I don't think there is a way on hiding the timer.

You don't have to finish the entire section to review your test. You can go back and forth as much as you please.
I don't think you can hide the timer, but even if you can, I don't recommend it.

Thank you very much kholley25! I use a strategy where I go through the question one by one for the first passage and write the keywords for each question. Then, I read the passage and if I find the answer to any of the 17 questions for a passage, then I click review on go to (for example), question 12 and answer the question. Then, I keep reading and find the answer to (for example) question 7 so I click review and go to question 7 and answer it. Does that mean my method won't work on the real dat since there won't be a review button unless I go through all the questions first?

You could go to the prometrics website and take a DAT practice test to understand how the test works. When you take the reading portion of the DAT you will first start with the whole passage and when you skip to the next page you can answer questions. With each question comes with a little box of text containing the passage in it. So you don't have go back to the passage every time you want to reference to it. Just like I explain previously for the science portion, the reading is the same way.

Thank you for your response futuredentist121. For the dat practice test on the prometrics website do you mean the practice tutorial or an actual practice test?
