i asked before on one of the thread if i was overloading on the science course since i wanted to take Chem and bio on my freshmen year. Well, i found out what i needed to complete my biology major and i found out that u have to take these classes ur freshmen year to be able to finish by the middle of senior year. Now i was wondering should i just switch my major or go with what they said i needed to take which is
Semester 1
IB 150 or MCB 150 (4 hrs.)
CHEM 101/105 or 107/109 (4 hrs.)
MATH 116 / 120 (5 hrs.) or RHET 105 (4 hrs.)
Optional Gen. Ed. or elective (1-3 hrs.)
Total 13-16 hrs.
Semester 2
IB or MCB 150 (4 hrs.)
CHEM 102/106 or 108/110 (4 hrs.)
MATH 120, STAT 100 or RHET 105(3-5 hrs.)
Optional Gen. Ed., elective or FL (1-4 hrs.)
Total 14-16 hrs. Thanks for ur help

hey I did that too I dunno where you go but it's not to bad. If you wait and take bio one year and then take chem the next you can't take orgo till junior year and then when will you take physics. If you do it their way your ready to take orgo or physics your sophomore year along with like genetics or cell bio or biochem.. it sounds more difficult then it really is don't stress your self and assuming you want to do mcats junior year this way will get you everything you need in time. I dunno that's just my two cents I did it and it was fine. I'm a junior now and all I have is one more class to finish my bio major and then all i have to do is college requirments. Good luck
