Actually, it's more geared towards those of you who aren't getting a ton of interviews like some others on this board: despite the number of interviews, one super smart super compassionate hybrid between Mother Teresa, William Osler, and Albert Einstein can only take up ONE spot in ONE school. All the other schools he/she interviewed still need good/driven students and there just aren't that many super stars to go around.

Therefore, don't worry if you are only getting a couple of interviews versus 25. By this time next year, you'll be studying the SAME anatomy as your competitors/future colleagues.
