So, I've made it to the step where I'm back in the United States and ready to start taking classes after working abroad for about 3 years after being graduated with a BA. I'm basically starting from scratch and going to a branch of Indiana University.

I'd like to not have to take 3 classes while working as an EMT during the fall and spring semesters so I was thinking about taking a summer calculus course.

The problem is that it is an online course. I know that online courses are frowned upon (or at least that is what I have read here), but how do you think that one online calculus course is going to look?

I'll be looking forward to your opinions.

Doing well in one online math class before starting a big program is a completely reasonable thing to do. Just get an A.

Best of luck to you.
