Be careful with this!! I would advise NOT taking ANY science pre-req online courses, including hybrids (lec online, lab in class). Its different with every school, so contact every school you are interested in regarding this to see if its ok.

Although, if you take an online course you will notice on your official transcript it does not specify that the course was an online course. It's pretty much the honor code on this one, if you take an online course you should fess up to it. There is no way for the school's you are applying to to find out if the course was online or in the class without receiving consent from you, the student, to release that information. I am not advising this though.

I wouldn't do this either, if it can be avoided. Not only are you at the mercy of the schools as to whether they'll accept the credits, I just don't think the learning experience is as good. I've taken a few online courses in the past (including a science course) and I always felt I wished I'd taken the course in the classroom.
